I highly recommend "Our Caring Hands", owners Kathy and Pam!! Overwhelmed describes the feeling we were experiencing trying to figure out how to clear a house of decades of collecting. The way they accomplish this, with such attention to detail, is nothing less than amazing. They take time to organize and group items into lots, which people will bid on. They are very knowledgeable. They knew about video discs, baseball cards, prints, and all kinds of collectables and they researched items during the process. They are truly dedicated to helping their clients get the very best results. All the lots are photographed in detail and with written descriptions. When they leave, all your items are organized into lots. 

I was doing this due to moving. Wish I'd hired them years ago, just to purge and easily get rid of things when it's time. Don't wait until the last minute when moving as I did. Whenever you need to rehome some of your stuff, remember Kathy and Pam.

Once ready, the auction is put online. The last couple of days, and last couple of hours is when you see the highest bidding activity. Everyone who wins bids is notified of pickup day and time they should come get their items. Kathy and Pam ran the entire process smoothly and professionally, accompanying people into my home a few at a time. Emails the bidders received and ID's are checked, and they wait their turn to enter.

I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Everything except a couple of lots was picked up. Doing this without them would never have gotten this result. I am ecstatic and so happy to have this experience with Kathy and Pam of "Our Caring Hands". Financially, after their fee and the auction percentage, the net was far greater than I could have done on Facebook or the auction by myself. They are true professionals and fun, very nice people. Do yourself a favor and eliminate stress by trusting them to work their magic for you. They truly care!

When it came time for my parents to downsize, we were faced with the challenge of what to do with their “stuff”. The collection of furniture, clothing, tools and even some of my old toys was never going to fit in their new smaller, safer place. When my father passed away, I was left with a house full of items that he collected over the years. I wanted to make sure his collections got to people who also collected those items but had no idea how to do that. I was afraid that I would wind up throwing most of those items away. Then I was referred to Our Caring Hands by the Real Estate Agent handling the estate. Our Caring Hands inventoried and categorized everything in the entire house, listed it all on an auction site and notified collectors who had similar interests as my father. Attempting to clear out the home of a deceased loved one who had been in that house for almost 70 years can be a daunting and emotional endeavor to say the least.  Finding help with that process can also be daunting and potentially expensive too.   Luckily for us we found a great partner to handle the entire process!
